Senior Account Manager Position Summary

The Senior Account Manager is responsible for developing and executing a successful account acquisition and growth strategy for large and mid-market customers.  Candidate must have 5+ years outside sales with documented overachievement selling IT solutions and services in the western North Carolina area, be able to leverage a strong base of existing customer relationships, plus a demonstrated ability to effectively direct and lead the work of others as part of a sales and delivery team.

Performance Requirements

  • Build and maintain strong sales pipeline, consistently exceeding quota
  • Build and maintain relationships with new and existing accounts and partners
  • Combine hardware, software and services in solution selling approach
  • Effectively manage all aspects of the sales cycle, including targeting, penetration, relationship building, presentation, closing, and repeat sales
  • Ability to analyze clients’ business goals and needs, and determine related technology requirements with limited assistance
  • Able to create Unique Value Propositions and communicate them to potential clients
  • Ability to produce $1M+ in Gross Profit

  • Technical background in several of the following: Network Infrastructure, Security & Compliance, UC, Virtualization, Storage, Data Center Integration, Disaster Recovery, or Wireless
  • Familiar with Cisco, EMC, NetAPP, VMWare, Microsoft, Citrix and related technologies
  • Experience selling IT related Solutions, Assessments and Professional Services
  • Develop and execute marketing campaigns as needed to build pipeline

Highly competitive base salary, benefits, and uncapped commissions based on gross profit.
