Senior Product Marketing Manager – Security & Compliance Software

In this newly created position, [Company] is seeking a talented, energetic Senior Product Marketing Manager with proven business and technical aptitude to drive product related go-to-market strategies, programs and deliverables.

This individual will be responsible for defining and implementing product positioning and messaging, collateral development, solution briefs, whitepapers, competitive information and other tools.

The candidate must have the experience and exceptional writing skills to take technical product information and transform it into compelling marketing materials and sales tools.

A strong knowledge of regulatory compliance (e.g., PCI, SOX, HIPAA, FISMA, etc) and enterprise security issues is required. The Senior Product Marketing Manager (outbound focus) will work in tandem with the Directors of Product Management and Sales teams.

Job Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute product marketing strategies and plans
  • Evangelize [Company] products to prospects, customers and partners
  • Research potential solutions areas, regulatory environments, vertical markets or key industry themes and write/develop appropriate content and campaigns that effectively position [Company]
  • Working with director of marketing, play leadership role in communicating [Company] product capabilities, features and benefits on [Company] website, presentations, data sheets, and other marketing and technical collateral
  • Execute product and launch campaigns for security and compliance solutions
  • Refine and create positioning/messaging for new and existing products
  • Present [Company] solutions to prospects, customers and partners
  • Research and develop competitive information and tools
  • Job Requirements
  • Minimum 5-7 years high-tech product-marketing experience; preferably in enterprise security, infrastructure or software
  • BA/BS required, MBA a plus
  • Extensive experience with enterprise focused marketing and selling initiatives
  • Ability to take highly technical product information and transform it into compelling and digestible concepts, written materials and sales tools
  • Ability to think strategically, holistically, and from a customer viewpoint
  • Developed leadership, interpersonal, and writing skills
  • Excellent presentation and speaking skills
