Senior Product Manager – Security & Compliance Software
Position Responsibilities
This newly created position will oversee product related strategies, roadmap planning and product delivery to further the company’s market and leadership in new strategic areas. The individual will collaborate with executives and other departments including engineering, corporate marketing, sales and external constituents to drive introduction and success of new software products for the company.
The individual will:
Plan and drive product strategy using in-depth market and competitive analysis for new product area
Be an extension of the management team – participating in key aspects of business planning, product strategy and company strategy
Work closely with development teams and other internal customers to develop market requirements for products
Assist in the creation of compelling positioning/messaging for new and existing products
Support sales and sales engineers on customer related activities and market evangelism
Lead, build, and facilitate recommendations and define product specifications for on-time delivery of [Company] solutions
Speak at customer events and visit customers to demonstrate the technical features and value proposition of [Company] products
Assist in training internal and external Sales/Channel/SEs on solutions and positioning
Requirements
7-10 years product management experience in security or infrastructure software
Excellent leadership, interpersonal, speaking, and writing skills
Extensive experience with enterprise IT focused product management/marketing initiatives
Strong problem solving and decision-making skills a must
Industry savvy individual with knowledge to lead the development of product strategy, product
requirements documents, market analysis, customer evangelization strategies and competitive leadership
Bachelor’s degree required. MBA a plus
