Along with solid business acumen, a Senior Account Executive has the ability to engage with senior-level managers and executives in Fortune 1000 companies.

The Senior Account Executive is responsible for growing customer loyalty consulting business, managing and developing client relationships, creating and delivering client presentations and proposals. S/He will consult with clients on their customer loyalty strategies, adding strategic business value, and will identify additional areas where [Company] services would add value.

The ideal candidate is an experienced, insightful, consultative, strategic thinker who is passionate about the business, proactively seeks out new sales opportunities, and develops relationships with professionals in the fields of customer experience, quality, sales, and marketing.

  • Be viewed as a “trusted advisor” who can engage executives on their ‘pains’ not just promote products 
  • Have a proven track record in creating, developing, and closing new business opportunities in the $300,000 range
  • Demonstrate a high degree of tenacity and persistence to drive new business activity
  • Have the stature and credibility to engage V and C level executives
  • Be self motivated

  • Experience in assessing business needs and identifying areas of opportunity to make sales happen
  • Entrepreneurial initiative to develop leads with current and prospective clients

  • Business aptitude to partner with team consultants to create solutions 
  • Proven capability to close deals and pride in personal accountability for results

Responsibilities include but are not limited to...

  • Grow the Customer Experience/ Customer Loyalty business in the West Coast area by $2+mm a year
  • Research client industries and unique business issues to identify potential new business
  • Lead qualified sales calls, and follow through on sales activities, such as proposal writing and product demonstrations 
  • Provide leadership and guidance to proposal team from inception to completion; oversee pricing structure, as well as other contract terms and conditions; obtain senior management approvals.

Required Skills Include... 

  • Must have a minimum of 7 years combined progressive, consultative experience in customer satisfaction, management consulting, or sales and program improvement services.
  • Familiarity with customer experience management and/or related market research disciplines
  • The ability to thrive in a fast-moving, dynamic, and relatively unstructured environment is essential
  • Proven ability to deliver outstanding sales results
  • Conversant in the principles and practices of customer feedback based programs
  • Ability to think creatively and solve problems under significant time pressure
  • Excellent client and teaming skills
  • College degree, preferably secondary in a human/social science, or business: MBA a plus
