The Consulting Engineer – SAP serves as a key, highly visible member of [Company]’ Customer Solutions team. In this role, you will work closely with customers, utilizing your technical and business expertise in SAP deployments and in [Company]’ SAP Solutions to understanding their information security and compliance requirements and to architect, craft, and implement a solution that integrates with their SAP footprint to solve their business needs. You will have blend of SAP technical and functional knowledge. You will work on diverse project across in a variety of industries. Job Responsibilities:

• Work closely with customers to design [Company] solutions to address enterprise information security and compliance needs, with a focus on SAP solutions.
• Ability to lead and conduct business blueprint workshops independently for requirements gathering. Should be able to drive these discussions to understand the business process and compliance requirements.
• Train customers in the use, administration, and customization of [Company] software.
• Demonstrate knowledge of client’s issues, industry, and business operations, with a special emphasis on SAP customers.
• Creatively and effectively develop solutions for complex problems where analysis of situations or data requires an in-depth evaluation of various factors.
• Ensure an ongoing client satisfaction focus from all team members.
• Contribute to the identification and development of service offerings, methodologies, and intellectual capital.
• Unit/assembly test, including creating test data
• Create demos and proto types
• Troubleshoot technical issues
• 25%+ travel as required to domestic and international customer sites.

Position Requirements:

• BS in Engineering or Computer Science preferred.
• 6+ years work experience in a customer-facing SAP Functional Consultant role.
• Hands on experience with SAP landscapes and SAP implementation projects, with expertise in the following SAP modules:
  • MM
  • PP

Additionally knowledge of the following is a plus

• PLM
• DMS
• Hands-on ABAP programming knowledge
• Enterprise software solution development experience
• Outstanding analytical, communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills
• Strong organizational skills with attention to detail
• Eagerness to contribute in a team-oriented environment
